As a Reach Truck Operator, you navigate perfect turns in challenging work environments and reign as the king or queen of the warehouse. With your reach truck, you move and stack heavy goods, especially in areas with limited maneuvering space. You load and unload goods and assist with other warehouse tasks, such as receiving and inspecting products, managing inventory, and preparing orders. Keep in mind, you won’t be the only one – there will be other colleagues zooming around on forklifts and reach trucks!

A reach truck is more compact, making it ideal for small spaces. Additionally, the ‘mast’ of a reach truck extends higher than that of a forklift, which is why reach trucks are often found in warehouses with high shelving. Another key difference from a forklift is that, as a reach truck operator, you sit sideways on the truck.

You ensure the warehouse stays neat and organized. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves either, sometimes helping with picking and preparing orders for transport.

Responsibilities:

• Moving goods in the warehouse using a reach truck or forklift.
• Collecting and inspecting orders.
• Preparing orders and verifying the quantities and types of collected goods.
• Collaborating with your colleagues to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Scanning goods in and out.

At this company, you’ll work various shifts, primarily handling logistical tasks.

You’ll work from Monday to Friday, with the option to work on Saturdays as well. Working hours are Monday to Friday between 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM or 10:30 AM – 7:00 PM.
